PLAYERS RULES
CONDUCT
- We expect players to conduct themselves in a kind and friendly manner. We are all here to
have fun. Berating, chastising, yelling, throwing your cards & cursing at another player for
how/way they play the game WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If the dealer at your table and or
the floor hears this kind of conduct, you will be given a verbal warning. If you persist, you will
be issued a penalty and will be sat out of the game for no longer than 15 minutes or one
complete blind structure. If you further persist, your chips and game will be forfeited and you
may be asked to leave the venue. Physical fighting is automatic ejection from the game and
venue.
TOURNAMENT PLAY - All games start promptly at 7pm, unless otherwise specified by a staff member.
- Buy-ins MUST be paid prior to receiving chips and or a seat at the game.
- All players MUST be present at the table, if you are playing the hand.
i.e. if you are not present at the table when the action has reached you, your hand will be
mucked by the dealer. - No “agreeing to check it down”, or “softplay”.
- If you are in a ALL IN situation, both cards must be flipped face up to reveal the hands. (If you
are ALL IN and there is still live action, you WILL not flip your hand until the dealer advises.) - If you have folded your cards, please do not discuss the hand with others at the table until the
hand has been completed. - Show one, show all! If you are in a hand, where you have made a bet, and everyone folds to
the bet, and you show the person next to you or the person that folded your hand, you MUST
show the rest of the players at the table your cards. - Do not flip your cards over till the dealer tells you too.
- If there is 3 players in a hand and there is still action and player exposed their hand that hand is dead.
- A single chip is only a call period! Verbal bets are binding!!
CASH GAME PLAY
- Buy-ins MUST be paid prior to receiving chips and or a seat at the game.
- You may re-buy or cash-out at anytime during the game.
- Players MUST be present at the table at the time a hand is dealt in order to receive cards.
- You MAY expose your cards in a “heads-up” situation, however; if there is action still to come
from another player that is in the hand, your exposed hand will be called dead by the dealer, and
whatever monies you have put into the pot, that hand, will be forfeited. - You may straddle from any position EXCEPT, small blind or big blind. Example: small blind is $1
dollar and big blind is $2 dollars. The straddle must be double the big blind. (most of our games
the straddle starts at $5 dollars)
DEAD RAISES
Example: In a tournament, let’s say your blinds are 1000/2000. First to act raises to 5000, the next
person goes all in for 9000. The person that went all in did NOT complete a total raise of double the bet
of 5000, therefore it is a “dead raise” back to where the action began. However, it is not a dead raise to
any player that has not had a chance to act yet.
